It Is Not Over Yet
Directed by Louise Detlefsen
Description
It’s Not Over Yet dives into the lives of 11 residents and the staff at a controversial Danish care facility that focuses on ‘Compassion Treatment’ as head nurse May Bjerre Eiby calls it. This unconventional residential facility prescribes laughter, hugs, humor, eye contact, nature and even cocktails to its patients. Directed by Louise Detlefsen, this film asks us; what kind of care do we want for ourselves and our loved ones?
Followed by a discussion moderated by Annette Mangaard (documentary filmmaker) with Sylvia Lustgarten (community activist) and Dr. Raza Mirza (Senior Research Associate at the University of Toronto’s Institute for Life Course and Aging).
